Cassandra “Sandi” Olson, a first-year doctoral student in Dr. Hennigar’s lab, was selected to present her abstract as a flash talk during the Vitamins and Minerals Research Interest Section (RIS) Forum at NUTRITION 2020 LIVE ONLINE. Sandi’s abstract is titled “The effects of short-term zinc feeding on zinc absorption and zinc transporter expression in the small intestine of mice.”
The Vitamins and Minerals RIS Forum will be a live online Zoom event held on Wednesday, June 3 from 4:30 PM EDT to 5:30 PM EDT. The Forum will feature 6 flash talks of distinguished abstracts followed by live questions and answers. Flash talks will be 4 minutes long.
The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) moved their annual in-person meeting, Nutrition 2020, to a virtual meeting in response to COVID-19 concerns. The event is free and sponsored by the ASN Foundation.
