Former FL Resident and CHS Friend Sota Making History in Minnesota

Sota had previously been training as a service dog in Florida with NFES (Nutrition, Food & Exercise Sciences) Professor Lynn Panton before answering her calling as the first Electronic Detection K9 for the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in Minnesota. As it turns out Sota had way too much energy for a service animal and was donated to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety by Operation Underground Railroad, a non-profit organization dedicated to anti-child trafficking efforts. Sota is credited with locating over 20 pieces of electronic evidence to include cell phones, usb drives, flash cards etc…
