Dietetics is one of four undergraduate majors in the Department of Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences. The program offers students a unique introduction to sports and clinical nutrition.
Students majoring in dietetics may earn a DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) Verification Statement (which is required to apply for an internship and registered dietitian exam.) The DPD is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
