The study, headed by Amelia Welch (doctoral student), Dr. Myriam Rudaz, Dr. Thomas Ledermann, and Dr. Gregory Seibert, includes multiple questionnaires and three time points. This study is open to all adult couples who are 18 years of age or older and are in a committed romantic relationship for at least one year.

Participation in this study will include the completion of three surveys: initial survey, 7 weeks, and 15 weeks after the initial survey. Each survey takes roughly 20-30 minutes to complete. The second and third surveys will be sent by email (seven weeks after the initial survey and eight weeks after the second survey).

Couples where both partners complete all three surveys will be entered into a lottery to win a free, live online Compassion for Couples Training(approximately $800 value) led by the developer Michelle Becker and her team (see here for details about the training). The study, headed by Amelia Welch (doctoral student), Dr. Myriam Rudaz, Dr. Thomas Ledermann, and Dr. Gregory Seibert, includes a 6-week Compassion for Couples (CfC) training and the completion of associated surveys at three time points. This study is open to all adult couples who are 18 years of age or older and are in a committed romantic relationship for at least one year.

Participation in this study will include the completion of three surveys: an initial survey, a post-training survey (6 weeks), and a follow-up survey 8 weeks after the end of the training. Each survey takes roughly 20-30 minutes to complete. All three surveys will be sent by email.

The Compassion for Couples (CfC) training comprises of six 2.5-hour live, online, group sessions once per week over the course of six weeks, 30-minutes of self-paced, online module work per week, and 30-minutes of home practice per day over the span of six sequential weeks.

By participating in this research, you and your partner will receive a promo code for a $25 discount per person on the cost of the CfC training. If you complete all three surveys, you will each receive a promo code for a $25 discount on future Wise Compassion trainings. The training will be run by the program developer, Michelle Becker, and her team (see here for details about the training).
